Labor & Employment Paralegal

Location: Hybrid (office presence required as needed)
Compensation: $90-120k DOE, with flexibility for exceptional candidates

Our client is seeking an experienced and highly organized Labor & Employment Paralegal to join their growing legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effectively manage multiple priorities while supporting attorneys on complex employment and civil litigation matters.

This position offers hybrid flexibility; however, candidates must be available to work in the office when needed. Remote work requires a dedicated professional workspace and the ability to maintain productivity in a distraction-free environment.

Responsibilities
Support attorneys in labor and employment law matters from inception through resolution
Manage all phases of civil litigation, including case intake, discovery, document review, and trial preparation
Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, correspondence, subpoenas, and other legal documents
Assist with written discovery, document production, and organization of case files
Coordinate depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials
Maintain case calendars and track critical deadlines
Conduct legal and factual research
Organize and manage large volumes of documents and case materials
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and third-party vendors
Prepare billing entries and maintain time records in accordance with firm requirements
Qualifications
Paralegal certificate required
Experience in labor and employment law strongly preferred
Civil litigation experience required
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously
Exceptional organizational and time management skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Trial preparation experience is a plus
Proficiency with legal case management systems and Microsoft Office Suite
